Focus areas

Seven integrity risks, one consistent method

Choose the focus areas that matter for your decision. Each is analysed per country and sector with the same scoring logic, so results can be compared across topics and markets.

01

Why these seven

These are the risk areas in which companies face criminal or administrative liability, in which authorities publish what they enforce, and in which exposure differs markedly between countries and sectors. That makes them analysable from evidence rather than opinion.

You select all seven or only those relevant to your situation. A market-entry decision may call for bribery, sanctions and human rights; an annual compliance risk assessment usually covers all seven.

027

The focus areas

  • Anti-bribery & corruption

Public-official touchpoints, intermediaries and the enforcement record under FCPA, UK Bribery Act, Sapin II and local law.

  • Anti-money laundering

Customers, payment flows and partners measured against FATF status, the EU AML package and local enforcement.

  • Antitrust & competition

Cartel and abuse cases in your sectors, authority priorities and your contact points with competitors.

  • Fraud

Fraud against and for the company, by market and process, including the UK failure-to-prevent-fraud offence.

  • Data privacy

Regimes, transfer rules and the actual enforcement record of data-protection authorities in your countries.

  • Export control & sanctions

Dual-use controls, EU, UK and US sanctions, and diversion risk along your trade routes.

  • Human rights

Forced and child labour, working conditions and land rights in your supply chain, mapped to LkSG, CSDDD and import bans.

03

How focus areas combine with countries and sectors

Every selected focus area is assessed for each country × sector cell in your scope. One sector across five countries gives a sector-specific picture per market. One country across all sectors gives a country view. Several sectors in several markets give a full matrix.

The report shows where a risk is driven by the country, where by the sector, and where by the combination of both.

04

External and internal view

  • External analysis

Legal environment, enforcement by the competent authorities, cases and fines in your sector, cases at direct competitors and indicators with their limits stated, for each focus area.

  • Internal analysis (optional, under NDA)

Your own cases and investigations, business partners, sponsorships, donations, memberships, gifts and hospitality, mapped to the same focus areas and combined with the external view.

05

Comparable across topics

Each focus area is rated on the same five-level scale from likelihood and impact. The report explains every rating with its sources, so 'high' in antitrust and 'high' in human rights carry the same weight. See the method.

What we do not cover

We stay focused. Cybersecurity, tax and environment, health & safety (EHS) are outside our scope. Where a finding touches one of these areas, we flag it and recommend a specialist.

Send us your countries, sectors and focus areas. We come back with a scope proposal covering timeline and price.
