Scope and combinations

What exactly does integritySCOPE analyse?

Compliance and integrity risk in seven focus areas: anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, antitrust and competition, fraud, data privacy, export control and sanctions, and human rights. The external analysis looks at the countries and sectors you define; the optional internal analysis adds your own data under NDA.

Cybersecurity, tax and environment, health and safety (EHS) are outside our scope.

Which country and sector combinations are possible?

Any combination: one sector across several countries, one country across all sectors, or several sectors in several countries. You can also limit the analysis to selected focus areas. The scope is fixed in the proposal before work starts.

Do we need the internal module?

No. The external analysis stands on its own and needs no data from you. The internal module is worth adding when you want to see how your own cases, business partners, sponsorships, donations, memberships and gifts and hospitality relate to the external risk.

Process and timeline

How does a project run?

In five steps: a free scoping call, a proposal with fixed scope, timeline and price, research and data intake, analysis and scoring, and delivery with a results session. The method page describes each step.

How long does an analysis take?

It depends on the scope: the number of countries, sectors and focus areas, and whether the internal module is included. The timeline is stated in the proposal and agreed before work starts. If you have a fixed deadline, such as a signing date or a board meeting, tell us when you request the scope.

Confidentiality and data protection

How do you handle confidentiality?

We sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share any internal information. Your data is used only for your analysis, limited to what the analysis needs, transferred through a secure channel and deleted after delivery on request. The fact that you commissioned an analysis is confidential as well.

Do you need personal data for the internal analysis?

Usually not. Most internal questions can be answered with aggregated or pseudonymised data, for example partner lists by country and category or case statistics without names. Where personal data is unavoidable, we agree the data protection basis with you before transfer. Details on this website are in the privacy policy.

Sources and method

Which sources do you use?

Primary sources first: legislation, publications and decisions of enforcement authorities and courts, official registers and settlement documents. Then reputable press and specialist publications, and recognised indicators such as the Corruption Perceptions Index, the Basel AML Index and FATF lists. Every finding in the report is linked to its source.

How does this differ from risk indices, ratings or screening tools?

Indices rate countries, not your combination of countries, sectors and topics, and they do not tell you which cases hit companies like yours. Screening tools check names against lists. We analyse the enforcement environment for your specific scope, put indicators in context and state their limits, and explain every rating.

Who does the work?

Senior analysts with a background in compliance, investigations and risk assessment carry out the research and scoring. Every rating is reviewed by a second analyst before delivery (four-eyes principle), and every finding must be traceable to a source. The method is the same for every project, which keeps results comparable.

Deliverables and languages

What do we receive at the end?

A PDF report with management summary, risk heatmap, a chapter per focus area, case patterns and red flags, recommended measures and a source register; an XLSX annex with case register, indicator tables and scoring sheet; and a results session with your team.

In which languages do you deliver?

In English or German, at your choice. Research covers sources in other languages as well.

Can the analysis be updated or repeated?

Yes. A repeat analysis uses the same scale and criteria, adds new cases and changed indicators and marks every rating that has moved. Many companies use this for their annual compliance risk assessment.

Pricing

What does an analysis cost?

Pricing is on request. The price depends on the number of countries, sectors and focus areas and on whether the internal module is included. You receive a fixed price with the proposal, before any work starts. The scoping call is free.
